Been a lot of rumors floating around as of late regarding the next installment of The Legend of Zelda series. First we heard that is was coming out this year, Then that “Zelda for the Wii won’t see the light of day until it’s perfect”. But now we finally got an announcement that Nintendo will show the game at E3 this year. I still have no clue what we will see, Nintendo tends to change Link for every game they make, But please no wolf this time? Oh yeah, No damn Tingle either!
So the Wii have been out for years now, but yesterday i finally picked up my very first one, Went with the slick Limited Edition ( the black one )
Set everything up and was ready to play sum Wii Sports. But then i notice how fucking ugly the Wii looked on my HDTV, Nintendo SHOULD have put in a component cable in the package, So now i have to wait till monday till i can go pick up the new cable. I just hope it does the job :S
Still waiting for my order of games to arrive from Webhallen, since the Wii Sports games just don’t cut it for me =)
We kinda saw this one coming when we heard that Red Steel 2 requires the Wii Motion Plus. Many people where hoping to see a brand new Zelda game for the Wii at E3, But sadly we didn’t get to any trailer. But Shigeru Miyamoto have at least confirmed that a Zelda for the Wii is in development, And that it will require the Wii Motion Plus. So can we expect some precision sword play?
Only thing that have been released so far about the new title is a concept art picture.
We where waiting for Nintendo to show either a new Zelda, Mario or Metroid game during their press conference. Mario Galaxy 2 have now been announced, and they did show gameplay. What can we say more than it looks to be a worthy follow-up to Mario Galaxy
Seems like Microsoft isn’t the only ones who suffers from a leak, The leak from Nintendo tells of two new games that are going to be shown at E3.
The first is a new Wii Fit game called Wii Fit Plus, Also said this version will have online capability and better measurement of your body.
The second title seems to be a new Mario game. But just saying a “Mario” game isn’t much info, Since it can be anything if you look back at the games that had Mario in em.
Apparently this Mario is game is going to be released this fall. A follow-up to Galaxy or a new Mario Party game? Or might even be New Super Mario Bros 2.
A video showed up on the net about a new title for Wii Ware in Japan. The game is called Muscle March…. To sum it up, Here is a great opportunity to look like a complete dumb ass in front of your Wii. Check trailer below.
That the upcoming title Red Steel 2 for the Nintendo Wii will use the Wii Motion Plus have been known for a long time. But it has now been announced that game will require the motion plus.
Apparently the developers claim the game just wouldn’t work without it. The new about this is rather disturbing since it’s not the first time Nintendo do something like that ( Remember the ram expansion for the 64? Which flopped big time? ).
So unless Nintendo makes the motion plus cheap in retail, it could go either way for this title.
Konami are working of a new version of the original Silent Hill that was released on the Playstation 1999. I saw a new version since it won’t be a pure re-make of the title, You will still play as the protagonist Harry Mason who are searching for his daughter in the town Silent Hill. The big game change is that there will be no combat, instead of taking a steel pipe to a variety of monsters that have taken up resident in the town you will instead leg it to avoid having your limbs torn apart. This is something that sounds interesting, being chased down by something in a game will always get your heart pumping, Just look at Nemesis from Resident Evil, or my very own personal favorite The Chainsaw dude from Castlevania 64 ( i did not enjoy that game )
The new title will be Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, No release date have been set yet, But we expect to hear more during E3 this year.
