Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 2 wasn’t the only CoD game we would hear about at GDC. Another surprise is that the very first Call of Duty will this summer be available for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 via their downloadable services ( PSN & Marketplace ). No price or real date have been announced at this point. If you never played the game that started the series i highly recommend getting this when it is released, And for you who did play it… You know you want to relive it

It was a known fact that Hideo Kojima the creator of the Metal Gear series would make a keynote during this years GDC. He said before that he was going to announce something. Due to this the game industry and all fans across the globe started to speculate what the announcement could be. Metal Gear Solid 5? A 360 port of Metal Gear Solid 4? Zone of the Enders 3?
But Kojima surprised us all when he gave us the announcement.. And what was it? That he would announce something on this years E3… Now that’s one sly Fox…Hound? 
So what could he have planned for E3? Your guess is as good as mine.

Console player all over the world have at least at some point looked at the PC exclusive game Crysis and started to drool a bit. Only people on high-end machines could experience Crysis with it’s sliders set to max. And we have heard the words “Crysis would never be able to run on the current console platforms”. 
But there might be hope after all for us console players. During GDC the developer Crytek announced their engine called CryENGINE 3. This engine will be used to work on Xbox 360 & Playstation 3 titles in the future. So who knows? Maybe console players will get to experience a not so dumbed down version of Crysis and Crytek’s future titles? Guess we have to wait and see if something will be announced during this years E3.

Finally the first teaser of Infinity Wards upcoming game Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 2 have been released. The trailer don’t show any gameplay, Think we will have to wait till E3 for that.
So what can we say about the teaser? Seems like to be a terrorist attack on some airport, and looks like it’s Russians again who are the bad guys. If you want to watch the teaser in HD i suggest you head over to GameTrailers.com for your fix.

In the video we also get the long awaited date announcement. On November 10 it’s time to put on your best combat gear, and jump into the world of Call of Duty

If you remember a while ago when we posted about how many DS system Nintendo had sold, And that Miyamoto finally was happy again ( The poor thing was rather sad during the GameCube era ). Now we know why he is so damn happy again. Nintendo will get loads of money once again due to the DSi. At first we all thought the DSi would just be a updated and more fancy version the normal DS. But today we learnt that there will be games exclusive for the Nintendo DSi, Meaning they won’t run on the normal DS. Sure say a title comes out for the DSi, i guess that the normal DS receives a version as well… But you never know, Nintendo might force you to upgrade… Well played Nintendo, Well played ( genius bastards! )
