So finally patch 3.3 of World of Warcraft is here. The whole expansion Wrath of the Lich King we have interacted with the fallen Paladin Arthas in some way. But now we will finally march against the Lich Kings stronghold, The Icecrown Citadel. Fall of the Lich King will be the final big content patch for this expansion of the game, leading us to think that WoW’s 3′rd expansion Cataclysm isn’t that far away. So now the patch is live, and what is there to do? Aside from trying to down the first bosses in the new raid instance, there are also 3 new normal instances, The Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron & Halls of Reflections. So far i have only done The Forge of Souls by using the new Dungeon Finder tool, That can put you in an instance with anyone in your battlegroup, Kinda like how battlegrounds works, only instances this time. The instance was kinda cool, But the music that started playing after we defeated the first boss was questionable ( i was waiting for Lady Gagface to make an appearance ) But enough talking, time to get some work done! Blizzard are so high and mighty that they won’t go to E3, They make their own event instead called BlizzCon. As a huge fan of pretty all their games i was of course psyched about this event.
It’s been known for a while that a motion picture of World of Warcraft was in the works, But now it’s been announced that the director of Spider-Man, Sam Raimi will direct the movie adaptation of Blizzards insanely popular game World of Warcraft. No date or any hints of the script nor the cast of the film have been announced at this time.
Raven Studios new game Singularity is being delayed by it’s publisher Activision Blizzard. The reason? They don’t want to compete with one of their own games, Namely Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2. At least this is the “official reason”. Who knows? Raven might have run into some problems, Or Activision Blizzard maybe wasn’t happy with the results. But i can only speak for myself when i say that my wallet is happy about this announcement. Way to many games are coming out this fall as it is. Singularity is now scheduled for a Q1 2010 release.
Rejoice! NCSoft have finally released the date for when Aion will North America & Europe. September is the month when Blizzards grip on the MMO community will loosen… a bit.
Aion: The Tower of Eternity will be available in the North America territories September 22, And Europe 3 days later. So enjoy your betas while you still can, The retail is soon upon us.

Blizzard are good at giving away swag during their events. And during this years BlizzCon a little something will be in gift bag you receive. A space marine murloc pet to be used in World of Warcraft. Seriously how awesome isn’t this thing?
That Blizzard is working on a new MMO have been known for quite some time, But we never really got any information of what it could be. World of Starcraft? A MMO that takes place in the Diablo universe? Nope, This time around Blizzard is making something brand new. All we know at this moment is that they are testing it with the World of Warcraft engine, But other than that the upcoming title is a mystery. But things will most likely clear during this years BlizzCon.
The beta testing for Blizzard’s upcoming RTS Starcraft II is starting up this summer. So if you want to try and join in create an account at Blizzard’s Battle.net site.
But wait! There is more! You all heard of the game Huxley yeah? That FPS MMO that was suppoused to come out years ago, The game developer Webzen are now ready to bring people into the beta.
